Automatic news clipping tool through automatic speech recognition
VoiceInteraction presents a recent success story from its client, Mediacorp, from Singapore. The media group needed to create a news clipping and publishing workflow on the website of its Channel News Asia (CNA) channel. With the features of automatic speech recognition and metadata generation of the Media Monitoring System, a VoiceInteraction product, it was possible to develop the AI Smart Cut process. With this solution, CNA editors were able to streamline their processes, saving up to 4 hours of daily work and winning the award for journalistic innovation from the international association INMA.

The modernization of TV Cultura’s CEDOC
CEDOC DA TV Cultura/Fundação Padre Ancheita entered a new phase when the combination of factors allowed the goals set to be achieved: all archive environments were prepared to receive the different collections and, in parallel, the MAM (Media Asset Management) system ) is being expanded, allowing the incorporation of new resources and, above all, of other collections, hitherto treated in isolation. The work of sorting material and organizing it is making it possible to implement an integrated and unified search for all items in all collections.
