Eduardo Cappia

SET Board Member and EMC Director

Graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1979 from the University of Mogi das Cruzes, with specializations in communications and electronics. He has made significant contributions to the broadcasting sector, particularly in the process of migrating AM radio to FM in Brazil. He has also provided international consultancy on antennas, including work with the renowned American industry Shively Labs, focusing on developing customized optimized diagrams and systems.

Since 2011, he has been leading the Technical Committee of AESP (Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters of the State of São Paulo), coordinating a diverse group of communication professionals both in Brazil and abroad. Additionally, he serves as the Coordinator of the Radio Study Group at SET (Society of Television Engineering) and is a Full Counselor of the organization, conducting integrated studies on regulatory standards in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Anatel.
